t-shirt design

To the right is our t-shirt design. We are hoping to sell many t-shirts to the public. They are available in red or blue for $20. I really love the design. Thank you, Carol. Check out the KSDS web site for more information. www.ksds.org

  1. The excitement is building as the women of "Running Free" move closer to their goal of raising $10,000 for KSDS, Inc. The total amount as of today's date is: $4,820! We have received fabulous support- not only from our friends in the Topeka, Kansas area but in neighboring states as well.

My work with the women of Running Free has been one of my most profound life experiences. I am continually inspired by these women who pound the track every weekend, in good weather and bad, seeking the serenity and peace that running offers. Exchanging the self-destructive way of life for promise of change, they explore different ways to combat the power of addiction and habits of darker days.

When I began running with these women 1 1/2 years ago, I thought mostly about the time I would give and knowledge I would share. I didn't undertand at the time how profoundly the women would enrich my life and teach me the important things in life. The women of "Running Free" challenge me to be a better person because of the way they challenge themselves to do the same.

I invite you to partner with us in the 5K 4 K9 effort. We appreciate your sponsorships, donations, t-shirt orders and most of all, your support.
    Thank you.

  2. I not only give my support to KSDS but also to the women of the Running Free running club. I firsthand have seen what a wonderful contribution this group has given to our society as a whole. Not only through the charitable contributions they have raised through their races but also they are turning out women who are behing walls now but are turning themselves into productive citizens once they are beyond these walls. The power of running & excercise is a very amazing thing. Keep it up girls. I am very proud of all of you.
